It's hard to understand.....

How people can doubt their salvation. Or even more bizarre, how they think they can loose their salvation once they have received the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. All throughout Scripture, we find time and again where God tells us that if we are in His Son, then we are His forever (and that's a long, long time)! We added this section to our website to put to rest, this area of Salvation called ETERNAL SECURITY.

THE WORD OF TRUTH

There are some denominations in the Christian world today that teach that you can lose your salvation.  I would like to assure you today, that nobody, and I mean nobody, that includes you can cause your salvation to become null and void. There is no way you can forfeit your gift of eternal life.

The way my Pastor likes to picture it is this: as a believer in Jesus Christ, He holds you in His hand – God the Father has His hand wrapped around Jesus and all three – you, Jesus and the Father are sealed by the Holy Spirit.  Now, I ask you, can anyone reach in and take you, could you fall from their grasp?  The answer is resounding ‘no’.  Jesus tells us in John 10:27-29:

"My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand."

Ephesians 1:13 goes on to assure us that,

"In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise,"

Rest assured, nothing you or anyone else can do has the power to separate you from the love of God.  No one!

THE BOTTOM LINE IS THIS.....

If you repent of your sins and ask Jesus to come into your heart and be your Lord and Savior; if you believe that Jesus came to earth for the specific purpose of paying your sin debt on the cross of Calvary; if you believe by faith that He was buried and on the third day God, the Father raised Him (Jesus) from the dead according to the Scriptures; if you believe all of this in your heart, God says He gives you eternal life. Jesus told us in John 3:16:

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."

Do you know what everlasting life means?  ETERNAL - period.  That's forever and nothing you can do will ever be able to change that.  God said it, that settles it!
